Koalas on the Eyre Peninsula
On my 9 day trip from Perth to Adelaide I have had no idea that I would see so much of Australia’s wonderful wildlife. It all started when we drove down the road to the National Park on day 7 where I got to see one particular wildlife animal only a few meters away from me hanging in the tree and looking straight into my camera: a Koala, the very first in my life. I thought that this moment would be one of the best highlights of the whole tour but as soon as we reached our camping area I noticed I was wrong. I couldn’t believe how many Koalas there were sitting peacefully on the branches of the trees.
We took a walk around this beautiful National Park and caught sight of a female Koala with a cute little baby in front of her holding her tight. It was just amazing! During the day I could see lots more of these wonderful animals and took heaps of photos but as soon as the sun was set and my swag rolled out I could actually hear squeaky noises from the trees next to me and an exciting day ended with these soft and cuddly little fur balls lulling me to sleep.
