Historical Koonalda Homestead, Nullarbor
Mandy from the UK was surprised when stopping over night at a place called Koonalda Homestead – a car cemetery on the old Nullarbor Road which was used to be a sheep farm and roadhouse between the 50’s and 70’s. Ever since, Koonalda Homestead has developed itself to a gigantic collection of old cars that did not make it through the Nullarbor Plain. Just a perfect stop for Nullarbor Travellers to take some awesome photos before sitting at the fire place to watch a beautiful sunset: to describe it in Mandy’s words “It was great!”.
