Australian Wildlife and Stargazing Tours

I thought we would never go- it was about 10pm at night and Hassie had just started the tour introduction...I didnt know whether I really wanted to go - it was getting cold, late and we had to get up and leave early in the morning. Hassie explained that the later the tour, the more chance of seeing wombats so we all trudged into his landcruiser and thats when the journey really started. we had a lot of fun and also learnt heaps as well. Lots of kangaroos, some eyes on the hill that Hassie identified as a fox and 2 wombats YEA!

The wildlife was really great but the part that I found fascinating was we all laid down on like a big rug, turned the lights of and just stared at the sky- it was amazing. I have never seen stars like it and we even found the big duck and the emu in the sky. Everyone came back laughing, the group had really now gelled and it was going to be one great trip across Australia.
